is a storyteller, researcher, and passionate explorer of Norse mythology and Viking history. With a deep fascination for the legends of the North, he has dedicated his life to uncovering the timeless tales of gods, giants, and heroes that continue to shape our world.
Meet Evgueniy Todorov
Evgueniy "Gene" Todorov was born in Sofia, Bulgaria. He graduated from the Sofia Mathematical School in 1986. Following studies in the Sofia Economic University, Gene Todorov immigrated to the United States in 1991 and joined the United States Marine Corps in 1993. During active-duty service, involving multiple tours in Iraq, Bosnia and Afghanistan, Gene continued to read and write essays and short stories for personal and family entertainment. After retiring from the Marine Corps, Gene settled in Alexandria, Virgina, with his wife and daughter.
Gene's writing journey began in high school, where he competed at National Level for essay writing and culminated with the current publication of "Odin's Baked Goods", a nod to the Norse Mythology, Viking Sagas and key Scandinavian Kings, depicted through the Art of Baking. Gene's vision is that human history and myths should bring laughter and smiles, while at the same time being educational and instructional.
Gene Todorov is a Graduate of Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland, with an MBA and Graduate from American Military University with MA.
